What a great, cozy (and delicious) place. Be sure to show up early to this scottish place for a tasty breakfast. Everything is locally sourced and handmade.
Plates are served on a metal box which makes it funny but flavour is great.

I had the full Scottish breakfast. The haggis went very well with the bread. And we loved the porridge! So surprisingly good. Definitely try if you drop by Edinburgh!

I came across The Edinburgh Larder while searching for a breakfast spot, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We made a booking in advance, and I’m so glad we did because it gets busy, with people constantly coming in hoping for a seat. Thankfully, they also have another location just two doors down called The Little Larder for walk-ins, so even if you don’t have a reservation, you can still enjoy their food. However, I’d still recommend booking ahead, as we saw a queue forming at The Little Larder when we left! This really speaks to the popularity of the place. I had the Full Scottish breakfast, and my wife had the waffles, both were delicious. Highly recommend!

Good food but overpriced plus an annoying 12.5% service charge was added to the bill without first asking. Sadly despite the quality of the food it is hard to recommend as a relaxing and enjoyable option amongst the many in Edinburgh.

Busy place, so glad they have 2 spots close to each other. Had the full Scottish breakfast and it was done so well. The staff were fun and interacting with the customers.

Food was very good and staff were very friendly, but we felt like our experience was ruined by an "optional" service charge. The staff member did say it was optional to us, but it didn't really feel like it as the bill already had the service charge included. While it might make the place less money, I really think they should stop including the service charge in the bill by default.

I had read the great reviews about Edinburgh Larder and we decided to visit for lunch when we'd arrived from Manchester. We were lucky enough to get a table and from the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome. The service is exceptional and the food is absolutely out of this word! As is the smokey bloody mary!!! In fact it's that good that after our run round Holyrood on Saturday morning we went back. There was a queue at this time but we decided to wait. Much to our surprise the gorgeous waiter who had looked after us the day before came out with two cups of the freshest orange juice, it was such a nice touch. We didn't wait long and sat down to another incredible breakfast with amazing coffee. This place is truly fantastic and I could not recommend it more! The hash is to die for!

A bust Sunday morning, I hadn't made a reservation, but they managed to squeeze in a table for one!
And I'm glad they did.
I ordered the Full Scottish breakfast, and I have to say it was probably one of the most flavourful breakfasts I've had in many, many years. The sausage was full of flavour and jam packed with meat, the haggis was really tasty, the beans had a subtle kick... it was just lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
The waiter kindly offered to top up my tea pot with hot water without additional charge, which is refreshing.
I will definitely be returning when I visit Edinburgh again in the future. But I'll remember to reserve to avoid any disappointment!

Lovely atmosphere - a great place to get away from the cold for some lovely brunch options. The Scottish breakfast was full of local products and the Eggs Florentine also very tasty. Orange juice was a bit disappointing, it tasted like a mix of freshly squeezed and cordial. Overall, fantastic, friend staff and prompt service

Perfect service and excellt vegan breakfast.
We ordered the full Scottish vegan breakfast and a roll with vegan Haggis and both were incredible! The staff was super friendly nice. This would easily be our go to breakfast place if we'd only lived in Edinburgh ;)

Un peu trouvé par hasard... Pas de tape à l'oeil en vitrine, mais service super sympa, plats copieux mais sains ( taste of Scotland). Vous avez rendu notre séjour encore plus beau. Mille fois merci. Super expérience !

Very expensive for breakfast and we were waiting a long time to be served but the food was very high quality and worth the long queue outside
